We have “FORMAL” and “INFORMAL” workshops to choose from.
We have eight workstations, each sewer is allocated a cutting table and machine station.
A box “kit” is provided for each sewer with all the tools required for sewing. Please refrain from bringing your own equipment.
Machines are available for beginners and those who don’t have. Please book a machine on registration. Classes are kept small maximum 8 sewers per class
FORMAL WORKSHOPS
Formal workshops run per calendar schedule they are run over 8 weeks and secures your spot for the eight week period. 8 x 3 hour workshops at the same day and time.

BEGINNER WORKSHOP
- General machine use and practise exercises
- Understanding and learning fabrics
- Fabric layouts, measurement and how to use a pattern
- Understanding seams: 4 sample exercises
- Bias Bibbing: 3 methods
- Fabrics Cont.: Woven/Knits
- Produce 2 garments: 1 woven + 1 knit
INTERMEDIATE 1 WORKSHOP
